14 December 2018
O Sensei Drawing from Bernie Lau Sensei O Sensei (Aikido Journal) Today, December 14, 2018, we celebrate the birth of O Sensei in 1883. The image on the left is a commissioned drawing that was obtained from Bernie Lau Sensei. It is a typical pose for portraits of O Sensei in his later life.

The image on the right is courtesy of Aikido Journal. In honor of his birthday, they've made a collection of O-Sensei videos from Aikido Journal TV available to everyone for free viewing today.

Please take a few minutes to watch or listen to (radio interview) Morihei Ueshiba, who's had such a positive impact on so many lives and communities. We also hope you'll share this link with others in the aikido community so more will have the opportunity to be inspired by O-Sensei's words and movement. Follow this link
